Two conditions have to hold for every service below, and both come from its own site: pickup from your location is stated as free, and the site says it buys ordinary used cars rather than only junk, wrecked or non-running ones. The first condition is what separates it from the big-name home-pickup buyers: Carvana's site says pickup carries 'an additional service charge, for customers in specific locations', CarMax's says 'distance restrictions and fee may apply', and Driveway's sell page states no fee details at all, so none of them can be called free from the data. Read each card for the catch: one buyer's bid is only good for 12 hours, one pays after an inspection that can take up to 48 hours, one hands over a check only after the pickup partner inspects the car, and one only operates in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Delaware, New Jersey and part of Minnesota.
