Forza Motorsport is a console-first title, and most sim racing software grew up reading data out of PC sims, so the list of tools that name it is short. Four of the twenty tools we track put Forza on their own pages: one free live voice race engineer and three second-screen dashboard apps. Two more say Xbox without naming the game, and nothing in our data sells pro reference laps for Forza. Here is what each tool states, and what it costs.
| Tool | What it does with Forza (as stated) | Price (as stated) |
|---|---|---|
| TakeP1 | Live voice coaching, spotter, brake points, telemetry HUD; Forza Motorsport in its platform list | Free: no trial, no tiers, no card |
| RS Dash ASR | Second-screen dashboard on iOS, Android or Windows; Forza in its games list | Free base app; in-app subscriptions for Advanced Analysis and the dashboard designer |
| Race Dash for Sim Games | Forza-styled dashboards streamed to iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch | Free base app; per-game unlocks $3.99-$5.99; All Access $1.99/mo or $13.49/yr |
| DashPanel | Customizable dashboard and virtual button box; Forza among 40+ titles | Free demo (RPM, speed, gear only); per-game in-app purchases for full data |
The only coaching tool that names Forza: TakeP1
TakeP1 lists Forza Motorsport alongside nine other titles, and it is the only tool in our data that offers any form of coaching for the game. It is an AI race engineer that talks to you corner by corner while you drive, from live entry, apex and exit analysis, with a spotter, brake points, a telemetry HUD and session reports. The whole thing is free, with no trial, no tiers and no card. The desktop app runs on Windows 10 and 11 PCs only, and the installer is not yet code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen warns on install. Its site describes console support as limited to Gran Turismo 7 on PS5, so our data does not record how it connects to Forza on an Xbox rather than on a PC. Disclosure: TakeP1 is operated by the team behind PickMerit.
Three dashboards on a second screen
The other three Forza tools are dashboards, not coaches. RS Dash ASR names Forza in its games list and runs on iOS, Android or Windows: free base app, in-app subscriptions for Advanced Analysis and the dashboard designer. Race Dash for Sim Games streams game-styled dashboards, Forza among them, to an iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. The base app is free, games are .99 to .99 each, and All Access is .99 a month or 3.49 a year; it is Apple devices only, and every game must have UDP telemetry enabled. DashPanel covers 40 or more titles including Forza, with a dashboard editor, mod.io sharing and a virtual button box. Its time-unlimited demo shows only RPM, speed and gear; full data is a per-game purchase.
The Forza catch: limited telemetry blocks lap comparison
RS Dash ASR is the one tool here with a lap-comparison mode, Advanced Analysis, which lines up throttle, brake, steering, gear, RPM, speed and g-forces across laps on a tablet. Its own site says that mode is not available for Forza Horizon or Forza Motorsport 7 due to limited telemetry. For Forza that leaves the live dashboard. DashPanel's note that channels depend on what each game exposes points the same way. A Forza driver gets gauges and timing on a second screen, and in TakeP1's case a live voice on the radio, but none of the four names a lap-against-lap analysis it will run on Forza data.
Two that say Xbox without saying Forza
Sim Racing Telemetry and SIM Dashboard both list Xbox as a game platform without naming Forza, so we count them as neither confirmed nor ruled out. Sim Racing Telemetry captures console games over the same network: free base app, per-game DLC at .99 to .99, complete timed laps only. SIM Dashboard is an Android and iOS app, free with a cap of three widgets per page and a one-time Pro purchase for unlimited widgets; its site notes that many games expose only partial telemetry.
- Trophi.ai, Track Titan, Coach Dave Delta and Popometer: each names its sims, and Forza is on none of those lists.
- Crew Chief, RaceLab and Z1 Dashboard: each names its PC sims, and Forza is not among them.
- Garage 61, VRS and iSpeed: iRacing is the only sim each one lists.
- SimHub: claims 100+ games; our data does not record Forza among them.
- Lovely Dashboard and TrackPro: neither site documents which sims are supported.
- MoTeC i2 Pro: its site makes zero mention of sim racing.
