Most sim racing software is priced for one driver on one rig. If you run a league team, coach several drivers, or operate a sim center that charges for seat time, the question changes: does the tool sell a multi-seat plan, and does any tier name commercial use at all? Of the 20 tools in our verified comparison, three publish a tier aimed at exactly that: Trophi.ai, RaceLab and Z1 Dashboard. A fourth, Garage 61, builds team data sharing into a product that is currently free. Here is what each one states, and what the rest leave unsaid.

Trophi.ai: the team plan is a discount, not a surcharge
Trophi.ai is the only AI coaching platform in the data with a multi-license plan, and the arithmetic favours the group. Three licenses for $249.99 a year works out to about $83.33 each, against $89.99 for a single Premium plan, so a trio saves roughly $20 a year. Two cautions. Our data records the Team price and license count, not whether those licenses include the setups bundle that Premium + Setups sells at $199.99/yr. And like every Trophi.ai plan, Team is billed annually up front, after a 7-day trial and with no free tier.
RaceLab and Z1 Dashboard: commercial use costs a multiple
RaceLab is the clearest about business use. Its Commercial tier is €299 per seat per year, about six times the €49.90 a private driver pays for Pro, so a ten-rig sim center is looking at €2,990 a year. RaceLab lists its €399 Lifetime license as a separate tier from Commercial, so do not assume a one-time purchase covers a business. Remember what you are buying: overlays, not coaching, with the lap-time analysis module labeled exclusive to iRacing. Z1 Dashboard takes the same approach at a smaller multiple. Its Pro tier, the one marked for commercial use, runs $17.99 to $19.99/mo against $3.99 to $4.99/mo for Standard. The in-sim AI instructor with track-walk mode is on the Track and Pro tiers. Our data does not record whether the Pro price is per seat.
Garage 61: team features without a team price
Garage 61 is a community telemetry platform for iRacing built around sharing: reference laps, setups and team data, with everything free during alpha. The optional Pro plan, €5/mo when subscribing yearly, adds extras such as advanced lap-search filters and unlimited data storage, where the free plan keeps one year. The limits are stated just as plainly. It is iRacing-only, top drivers can set their data private, and the site's own FAQ answers 'Will it stay free?' with 'Not all of it'.
What the other tools leave unsaid
- TrackPro: Pro 5X at $97/mo and Pro 20X at $297/mo are 5 and 20 times the Starter coaching usage, pitched with Sim Coaches' own simulators. The pricing we verified does not describe them as multi-driver or commercial licenses.
- VRS Virtual Racing School: plans are $4.99 and $9.99/mo, with human coaching sold by the session from $29.99 for 30 minutes. No team plan appears in the pricing we verified.
- MoTeC i2 Pro: described as the same tool real race teams use, but the site shows no prices and does not mention sim racing.
- SimHub: a choose-your-price perpetual license, suggested €8 to €30, with the motion addon licensed separately. No commercial tier appears in the pricing we verified.
- Crew Chief: a free download, MIT-licensed open source, with no paid tier of any kind.
- TakeP1: a single free plan with no tiers, so no team pricing exists. Disclosure: TakeP1 is operated by the team behind PickMerit.
