Coach Dave Delta and Trophi.ai are the two AI coaching apps on our list with no free tier at all, so the question is what you pay, how often, in which currency, and for what. One is a British desktop app priced in pounds that lets you pay month to month. The other is priced in dollars and bills every plan for a year up front. Everything below comes from each company's own pricing and product pages as we verified them, Coach Dave Delta on 2026-10-07 and Trophi.ai on 2026-10-21.

The money: one price in pounds, one in dollars
Coach Dave Delta has exactly two prices: £11.99 a month, or £109 a year. Twelve months on the monthly plan comes to £143.88, so the annual plan is £34.88 cheaper over a year. Trophi.ai shows per-month figures on its pricing page, yet every plan is billed annually up front and no monthly billing is shown. The Premium plan that reads as $7.50 a month is a single $89.99 charge, Premium + Setups is $199.99, Team is $249.99 and Professional is $699.99. They price in different currencies, so we will not convert one into the other. What the pages do establish is that Delta is the only one of the pair you can pay for month by month, and Trophi.ai's cheapest way in is a full year.
Neither is free, but only one has a trial
This is the one thing the two apps have most in common. Trophi.ai has no free tier, only a 7-day trial, after which every option is a paid annual plan. Coach Dave Delta's page lists no free tier at all: it is a subscription-only PC desktop app, and our verified data does not record a trial for it. So the cheapest way to find out whether Trophi.ai suits you is $0 for seven days, and the cheapest way to try Delta is one month at £11.99. If a permanent free tier matters to you, neither of these is it; Track Titan, VRS and the TakeP1 race engineer all have one.
Which sims each one supports
Both list iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione and Le Mans Ultimate, so on those three the sim list will not decide it for you. Outside that overlap they go in different directions. Coach Dave Delta also lists Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Evo, Automobilista 2 and Gran Turismo 7, which makes it the only one of the two that names a console title. Trophi.ai also lists F1 24, F1 25, F1 26 and Rocket League. If you race the F1 games, only Trophi.ai names them; if you race the original Assetto Corsa, its Evo successor, Automobilista 2 or GT7, only Delta does.
How they coach: a voice in the corner, or an insight after it
Trophi.ai's standout feature is Mansell, a real-time AI voice coach that talks you through every corner with in-game overlays, so the correction arrives while you are still driving. Coach Dave Delta is a setup, telemetry and video analysis desktop app, and its Auto Insights layer gives corner-phase AI coaching from data you have already recorded. One speaks to you on the lap; the other shows you the lap afterwards. Setups are where the pricing diverges most. Delta's headline feature is Setup IQ, which auto-tunes any setup to your driving style from your lap data, and pro setups ship inside the one subscription. Trophi.ai sells setups as a step up: Premium + Setups is $199.99 a year against $89.99 for Premium. Only Trophi.ai lists a human element, on its Professional plan: a monthly 45-minute 1-on-1 instructor session plus Driver61 weekly group classes, for $699.99 a year. Delta lists nothing equivalent.
- Pick Coach Dave Delta if you want to pay month to month, you want pro setups and Setup IQ in the base subscription, or you race Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Evo, Automobilista 2 or Gran Turismo 7.
- Pick Trophi.ai if you want a live voice coach through every corner, you race F1 24, F1 25, F1 26 or Rocket League, or you want the Professional tier's 1-on-1 instructor session, and a year up front is fine.
- On iRacing, ACC or Le Mans Ultimate both support you, so decide on billing and whether you want coaching during the lap or after it.
- Either way there is no free tier: Trophi.ai after its 7-day trial, Delta from the first month.
Prices, tiers and sim lists change, so treat the table above as a snapshot dated 2026-10-07 for Coach Dave Delta and 2026-10-21 for Trophi.ai, and check each pricing page before you commit, especially to an annual plan.
