Nine of the twenty sim racing tools we track name the original Assetto Corsa, as distinct from Competizione or Evo. That is a healthy list for a sim this old, and eight of the nine cost nothing to start. Here is each one with its stated entry price, then what separates them, and a note on which tools already list Assetto Corsa Evo.

A voice during the lap: TakeP1 and Crew Chief, both free
Both tools that talk to you while you drive Assetto Corsa are free. TakeP1 gives away its whole race engineer, including live corner-by-corner voice coaching, a spotter and brake points, with no trial, no tiers and no card. Its desktop app runs on Windows 10 and 11 only, and the installer is not yet code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen warns on install. Disclosure: TakeP1 is operated by the team behind PickMerit. Crew Chief is a free, open-source voice race engineer and spotter for Windows, Donations are accepted. The one paid AI voice coach we track, Trophi.ai, lists Competizione but not the original game.
Analysis after the lap: Track Titan, Popometer and Z1
Track Titan's free Community tier gives telemetry analysis without AI tips; AI driving tips and pro reference laps start at Plus, $7.99 a month. Popometer records laps for free and compares them against professional esports drivers' data packs, which come bundled with a matching setup and weather. Comparing against the pros means buying or activating those packs, the Ultimate Subscription price is not shown on the page, and its coaching feature is listed as coming soon. Z1 Dashboard is the only tool here with no perpetual free tier, only a demo. Its AI instructor and track walk arrive with the Track tier at $7.99 to $8.99 a month, and the Standard tier restricts the instructor to a single car and track combo.
Overlays and dashboards: RaceLab, RS Dash ASR, Race Dash and DashPanel
RaceLab is overlays, not coaching, and its lap-time analysis, standings and performance-trends module is labeled 'Exclusive to iRacing' on the site. The other three put data on a second screen. RS Dash ASR runs on iOS, Android or Windows, and for Assetto Corsa it needs the Windows PC version installed on the game PC. Race Dash for Sim Games is Apple devices only, with no Android or Windows client, and beyond the per-game unlocks it sells an All Access subscription at $1.99 a month or $13.49 a year. DashPanel runs on Windows through Steam, iOS and Android; its time-unlimited free demo shows only RPM, speed and gear, and full data must be purchased per game.
If you are moving to Assetto Corsa Evo
Only two tools in our data list Assetto Corsa Evo so far. Track Titan lists both the original and Evo, so its free Community tier carries over. Coach Dave Delta lists Evo and Competizione but not the original game, and it is subscription-only at £11.99 a month or £109 a year, with no free tier at all.
- Trophi.ai and Coach Dave Delta: both name Competizione, and Delta names Evo, but neither names the original Assetto Corsa.
- VRS, Garage 61 and iSpeed: iRacing is the only sim each one lists.
- TrackPro: its site no longer names which sims are supported, though testimonials mention Assetto Corsa.
- SimHub and SIM Dashboard: each site claims 100+ games, but our data does not record whether Assetto Corsa is among them.
- Sim Racing Telemetry and Lovely Dashboard: our data does not name Assetto Corsa for either.
- MoTeC i2 Pro: its site makes zero mention of sim racing.
