Best Automobilista 2 telemetry and coaching apps: every tool that lists AMS2, and what each costs

Five sim racing tools name Automobilista 2: a live voice coach, two lap analyzers, an overlay suite and a dashboard. All five are free to start.

Five of the twenty sim racing tools we track name Automobilista 2 on their own pages: one live voice coach, two lap analyzers, an overlay suite and a second-screen dashboard. All five cost nothing to start. Three more list 'Automobilista' without saying which game, and that gap gets its own section below.

ToolWhat it doesPrice (as stated)
TakeP1Live voice coaching, spotter, brake points, telemetry HUDFree: no trial, no tiers, no card
Track TitanAI telemetry analysis with Coaching FlowsCommunity free forever; Plus $7.99/mo
PopometerLap comparison against pro data packsFree lap recording; Ultimate price not shown
RaceLabOverlay suite with auto-adjusting layoutsBasic free forever; Pro €4.90/mo or €49.90/yr
RS Dash ASRSecond-screen telemetry dashboardFree base app; in-app subscriptions

A voice during the lap: one tool names Automobilista 2

TakeP1 is the only tool in our data that talks to you during the lap and names Automobilista 2 in full. It gives away its whole race engineer, including live corner-by-corner voice coaching, a spotter and brake points, with no trial, no tiers and no card. Its desktop app runs on Windows 10 and 11 only, and the installer is not yet code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen warns on install. Disclosure: TakeP1 is operated by the team behind PickMerit. Trophi.ai, the AI voice coach with no free tier, does not list Automobilista 2, and TrackPro, which also coaches by voice, no longer names its supported sims at all.

Analysis after the lap: Track Titan and Popometer

Track Titan's free Community tier gives telemetry analysis without AI tips; AI driving tips and pro reference laps start at Plus, $7.99 a month. Above that sit Setup at $14.99 a month with Hymo Esports setups and Ultra at $19.99 a month, which also includes them. Our data does not record which sims those setups cover. Popometer records laps for free and compares them against professional esports drivers' data packs, bundled with a matching setup and weather. Comparing against the pros means buying or activating those packs, the Ultimate Subscription price is not shown on the page, and its coaching feature is listed as coming soon.

Overlays and a second screen: RaceLab and RS Dash ASR

RaceLab is overlays, not coaching: layouts that adjust to the car and series you race, plus a community layout library. Basic is free forever, Pro is €4.90 a month or €49.90 a year, and a Lifetime license is €399 once. Its lap-time analysis, standings and performance-trends module is labeled 'Exclusive to iRacing' on the site. RS Dash ASR puts a telemetry dashboard on iOS, Android or Windows, with in-app subscriptions for Advanced Analysis and a custom dashboard designer. For Automobilista 2 it needs the Windows PC version installed on the game PC, and Advanced Analysis requires a full-HD-or-better tablet or desktop screen.

Three tools that say Automobilista, without the 2

Crew Chief, Coach Dave Delta and Z1 Dashboard each list 'Automobilista' in what we verified, with no number attached. We do not read that as Automobilista 2 support, and we do not read it as the absence of it either, so check each site before relying on it. Crew Chief is a free, open-source voice race engineer and spotter for Windows, with donations accepted. Coach Dave Delta is subscription-only at £11.99 a month or £109 a year, with no free tier at all. Z1 Dashboard has no perpetual free tier, only a demo; Standard runs $3.99 to $4.99 a month, and the AI instructor and track walk arrive with the Track tier at $7.99 to $8.99.

  • Trophi.ai: lists iRacing, ACC, Le Mans Ultimate and three F1 titles, but not Automobilista 2.
  • TrackPro: its site no longer names which sims are supported.
  • VRS, Garage 61 and iSpeed: iRacing is the only sim each one lists.
  • SimHub and SIM Dashboard: each site claims 100+ games, but our data does not record whether Automobilista 2 is among them.
  • DashPanel: covers 40+ titles, and the ones our data names do not include Automobilista 2.
  • Race Dash for Sim Games, Sim Racing Telemetry and Lovely Dashboard: our data does not name Automobilista 2 for any of them.
  • MoTeC i2 Pro: its site makes zero mention of sim racing.
The practical read: all five tools that name Automobilista 2 are free to start, so run them before paying for anything. The twelve tools in the list above did not name the game in what we verified, which is not the same as not working with it. Every statement here comes from each tool's own pages on the verification date shown on its card. Full cards for all 20 tools: Best Sim Racing Coaching & Telemetry Tools.
